About me…

I have definitely not come from a background in running, sport, or athletics. Leaving University, I was very unfit and overweight and it took me around 5 years to get to a better place through spending time learning about strength training, diet and nutrition before I found running. 

I trained for a local 10K and fell in love with the process of training and learning how to develop as a runner, tackling more 10Ks before moving on to the half marathon distance and my first marathon. 

I’ve since run more marathons, whilst also combining my love of the fells and mountains with my running to run fell races and ultramarathons up to 100 miles (so far…).

Running has truly changed my life. Not just in terms of physical fitness, but mentally and emotionally. I have hugely grown as an individual since I started running in 2018 and I want to help others do the same. 

Whether you’re looking to tackle your first 10K, move up to longer endurance events, or improve your running and times in general, I’ve been there and done it and thrive on helping others achieve their goals. 

Ultimately, running is simple. If you just want a 12 week plan to tick off a race and move on, then I am definitely not the coach for you. I want to work with people who are passionate and who want to challenge themselves. It is my mission to make you believe you can do things you previously thought weren’t possible, and then work with you to make that a reality.
